Economic Integration, Labor Law and Social Security in the Americas

Viña del Mar, Chile, April 14 and 15, 1998


Jointly organized by the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and the law firm Martineau Walker, the purpose of this conference was to study the changes in social legislations since the coming into force of the various free-trade treaties as well as their impact on labour relations. Participants in the conference also explored co-operation projects involving business, union and government organizations.
